About the project

As a Senior AWS Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud infrastructure and data architectures that are highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable. The role involves heavy use of AWS services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to support data transformation, ingestion, and analytics workflows.


How your day-to-day work will look like

Design and build scalable AWS cloud architectures for data platforms.
Develop Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK) for provisioning cloud environments.
Implement end-to-end data pipelines and ETL workflows using AWS Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, and EMR.
Set up and manage data lakes and Redshift clusters, ensuring governance and compliance.
Enable real-time data processing using Kinesis Data Streams, Firehose, and Analytics.
Automate deployments and workflows with CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with data teams to enhance query performance and data schema optimization.
Monitor infrastructure and data workflows to optimize for both cost and performance.

This would make you the ideal candidate

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ Years of experience designing and building cloud architectures using core AWS services (regions, availability zones, edge locations).
5+ Years of experience working with Infrastructure as Code, using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
5+ Years of experience designing secure VPCs and implementing cloud networking, including Subnets, NAT Gateways, Route Tables, IAM Policies, and Security Groups.
Strong experience managing compute and storage services, such as EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, and S3.
Proven experience with AWS data storage solutions, including S3, Redshift, RDS, and DynamoDB.
Experience implementing monitoring and logging solutions using CloudWatch and CloudTrail.
Experience automating infrastructure and data workflows using Step Functions, CloudFormation, and/or Terraform.
Experience building and maintaining data transformation pipelines with AWS Glue, Lambda, and Step Functions.
Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes using Glue, EMR, and Lambda functions.
Experience ingesting data from various sources, including streaming pipelines with Kinesis Data Streams and Firehose.
Strong DevOps background for data projects, with experience in CI/CD using CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and Jenkins.
Experience with advanced storage services: EBS, EFS, FSx, Aurora.
Knowledge of cloud security and compliance best practices (GDPR, HIPAA, encryption, IAM policies).
Familiarity with cost optimization and governance tools: AWS Cost Explorer, Trusted Advisor, FinOps strategies.
Experience with AWS analytics services: Redshift Spectrum, Athena, Quicksight.
Familiarity with AWS Config and AWS X-Ray for monitoring and performance tuning.
Experience managing data lakes on S3 with Glue Data Catalog.
Ability to integrate data from third-party APIs and on-premise sources.
Experience with data visualization platforms like Quicksight or similar.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.
Advanced English Level is required for this role as you will work with US clients. Effective communication in English is essential to deliver the best solutions to our clients and expand your horizons.
