Job Summary
TestPros is seeking a qualified consultant to ensure its websites and mobile applications comply withWeb Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards as mandated by theU.S. Department of Justice's (DOJ) 2024 final rule under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This project aims to improve digital accessibility for individuals with disabilities and align the digital platforms with federal accessibility requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive accessibility audits of websites and mobile applications for compliance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards.
- Identify areas of non-compliance and prioritize issues for remediation.
- Develop detailed reports outlining findings and actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with IT teams to review the current environment and accessibility gaps.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience performing web accessibility audits using WCAG 2.1 guidelines.
- Familiarity with accessibility testing tools (e.g., WAVE, Axe, JAWS, or NVDA).
- Strong understanding of the ADA's final rule and implications for local governments.
- Ability to write detailed technical and executive-level audit reports.
- State and local government experience
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining technical details and requirements effectively to a non-technical audience.
- Multi-tasking and Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and coordinate multiple projects and clients in a dynamic environment.
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred
