We’re on the lookout for a detail-driven and proactive Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in the UAE! If you’re passionate about numbers, compliance, and making an impact, this role is for you. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
What your responsibilities will include:
- Keep financial records accurate and compliant with IFRS and UAE tax laws.
- Stay on top of daily transactions, ensuring ledgers, journals, and bank reconciliations are always up to date.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable with precision.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements that shine.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Monitor cash flow and contribute to accurate forecasting.
- Prepare VAT returns while ensuring full compliance with FTA regulations.
- Maintain and audit fixed asset registers regularly.
- Strengthen internal financial controls and suggest improvements to make processes even better.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho, Tally, or ERP systems)
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
