Role Overview
We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join our global Accounting Team. Our ideal candidate is a hands-on detail oriented self-starter with experience with establishing/streamlining accounting processes and has strong communication skills.

This role is fully remote based in the US and will work with teams across geographies as we grow (Especially, South Asia and LatAm).

Responsibilities

The Accounting Manager will play a crucial role in supporting our accounting operations and ensuring accurate and timely payments.
Manage and work closely with cross functional team members on the contractor payout process.
Buildout team to support our growing contractor population to ensure timely and accurate payment processing.
Reconcile monthly contractor payouts and ensure accruals are accurate and complete.
Actively work with cross functional team members to streamline and improve the process.
Mentor and assign responsibilities to direct reports.
Reconcile contractor details across key systems.
Implement process improvements to support SOX compliance.
Support quarterly reviews and annual audits and ensure audit schedules and disclosure-related schedules are prepared in a timely manner.
Ad hoc project work as needed.

Skills/Qualifications Required

8+ years of experience in accounting, financial management, or a related fields

3+ years experience managing direct reports in accounting

Experience with accounting ERP systems - NetSuite (a must)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Vlookups, xlookups, etc.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Ability to work efficiently in a rapidly changing, fast-paced and results-oriented environment with a high degree of flexibility
