Job Description

They are a fast-growing real estate investment firm specializing in buying and selling properties. They provide homeowners with a straightforward, hassle-free way to sell their homes quickly and efficiently, delivering tailored solutions to maximize value for each transaction.

Location:

Fully-remote (work from home), 9 AM - 5 PM CST

Role Overview:
They are seeking a motivated and highly organized Acquisitions Specialist to focus on acquisitions and sales. In this role, you will engage with homeowners, manage seller leads, negotiate offers, and handle objections to get contracts signed and deals closed. The ideal candidate has a strong background in real estate acquisitions for U.S.-based investors or wholesalers, is persistent, and possesses excellent communication and sales skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Call homeowners (seller leads) to build authentic rapport and trust

  • Follow proven scripts, but adapt conversational style as needed to sound confident and natural

  • Ask effective follow-up questions to uncover motivation, urgency, and property condition

  • Make verbal offers and negotiate price and terms directly with sellers

  • Walk sellers through the purchase agreement and secure signed contracts via DocuSign (or similar)

  • Handle objections, overcome resistance, and push deals to the finish line

  • Keep detailed and organized notes on all seller interactions, offers, and updates in the CRM (FreedomSoft or similar)

  • Ensure all seller data is current and accurate for seamless team handoffs

  • Communicate closely with the acquisitions team to move deals from lead to close

  • Provide regular updates to management and stakeholders on lead and deal status

Qualifications:


Experience:

  • Minimum 1-2 years ofreal estate acquisitions or direct seller negotiation experience—preferably with U.S. real estate investors, wholesalers, or direct-to-seller campaigns

  • Proven track record of closing deals and securing signed contracts over the phone (be prepared to provide examples or references)

  • Experience using real estate CRMs (FreedomSoft preferred, or similar U.S. systems)

  • Familiarity with industry terminology: ARV, repairs, inspection, contingencies, etc.

  • Comfort using outbound dialers and calling platforms (Mojo, CallTools, etc.)

Sales & Communication:

  • Excellent written and verbal English—near-native fluency and neutral accent required

  • Confident, persuasive, and friendly communicator who can build rapport naturally

  • Persistent, resilient, and highly motivated to close deals (not just book appointments)

  • Comfortable handling objections, negotiating price, and pushing deals forward on calls

Tech & Professional Setup:

  • Reliable high-speed internet and a professional home office environment

  • Strong organizational skills; able to manage pipeline and update CRM efficiently

  • Able to work independently and follow detailed processes

Screening Requirements:

  • All shortlisted candidates must include a small pitch in their recording (acquisitions/sales context preferred) and a brief written statement on why they’re a fit for this role

  • Finalists may be asked to complete a live roleplay/mock call

Success Metrics:

  • Meeting or exceeding goals for outbound calls, offers made, and contracts signed

  • High seller satisfaction and positive feedback

  • CRM is always updated, and pipeline well-managed

  • Effective communication and collaboration with the acquisitions team
