SUMMARY
We’re looking for an Advocacy Specialist to help us celebrate our incredible customers and scale the programs that tell their stories. This role is part content creator, part program builder — and all about making our customers shine. You’ll drive customer storytelling across channels, manage our presence on peer review platforms, test new growth strategies, build compelling case studies and explore new forms of customer storytelling.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be both detail-oriented and creative, always looking for ways to amplify customer impact while respecting their time and goals. You’ll collaborate across marketing, sales, product, and partner teams to turn happy users into powerful advocates — and help fuel our next phase of growth.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Bring customer stories to life across formats — from quotes and videos to full-length case studies and reference slides for sales enablement.
- Own our peer review strategy across platforms like G2 and Gartner Peer Insights, identifying high-potential advocates and driving consistent growth in reviews.
- Collaborate with product marketing to source and secure customer quotes for launches and announcements.
- Test and scale new storytelling formats and programs, especially those that help sales and customer success teams tell the Wiz story in a relatable, authentic way.
- Recruit and manage a pool of reference-ready customers for speaking opportunities, events, and analyst engagements
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 2+ years of experience in customer marketing, advocacy, or content marketing — ideally in B2B tech or cybersecurity.
- A knack for storytelling and a high bar for quality.
- A customer-first mindset and the ability to build trust with technical audiences.
- Experience managing content projects end-to-end, including interviews, production, and approvals.
- Comfort working cross-functionally with stakeholders across marketing, sales, product, and customer success.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a bias for action.

Verify Employer Thoroughly
Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.
Never Pay to Get a Job
Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.
Safeguard Your Personal Information
Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.
Scrutinize Communication & Interviews
Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.
Beware of Unrealistic Offers
If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.
Insist on a Formal Contract
Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
