This role will be working on our Poe product.

About the Team and Role:

The AI Ecosystem team is Poe’s outward-facing partnerships team that manages commercial relationships and technical integrations with the world’s leading AI labs, inference providers, and fast-growing AI startups. We strive is to ensure Poe users always have reliable, affordable, easy-to-use, and the latest AI in one place. To achieve this, the team negotiates model prices and access with providers, validates each integration meets high standards, monitors observability platforms, and interfaces directly with Poe’s user/creator communities.

The ideal hire is an AI enthusiast who loves stress-testing the newest AI models, sweats every detail, and pairs solid numeracy with user empathy. They will start on a six-month contract, with the possibility of conversion for top performers.

This position is a 6-month contract role with the possibility of conversion.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain provider deal tracker in a lightweight CRM/relationship-management workspace

  • Steward official integration metadata, ensuring consistent parameters and descriptions

  • Rapidly QA new partner integrations for functional and safety compliance

  • Monitor observability dashboards and alert providers on downtime events

  • Perform financial analysis to evaluate commercial proposals and track spend

  • Regularly gather quantitative and qualitative competitive intelligence

  • Curate user/creator communities, being a positive & helpful voice in relevant spaces

Minimum Requirements:

  • Insatiable curiosity for frontier AI — you should ideally be testing new model releases soon after release and be curious about their product implications

  • Deep attention to detailand drive — you will be dealing with sensitive commercial information and your product decisions will be seen immediately by our millions of users

  • Impeccable written and spoken English and numeracy — you should be prepared to evaluate commercial proposals with tight turnarounds

  • Expert knowledge of Excel/Google Spreadsheet, working knowledge of Python

  • Graduated with Latin honors at a top university

Preferred Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Notion, Slack

  • Familiarity with the Poe platform

  • Familiarity with automation tools (e.g. Zapier)
