Your Role: We are looking for an Analytics Manager to join our fast-growing Data team to lead our Business Analytics team and drive a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization. This team supports major business functions including: Finance, Marketing, Sales, Member Support, and People.
Establishing and maintaining high-quality data assets, analytics capabilities, data insights, and making data self-serve via dashboards are critical for our company's continued success. We have and will continue to invest heavily in leveraging data analytics to drive strategic and business decisions, power key product features, and solve problems that directly improve our customers' experience and the strength of our business.
As an Analytics Manager at Engine you will:
- Manage and mentor a team of data analysts, fostering their growth and development
- Drive cross-functional communication to ensure data insights are effectively utilized
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify key metrics and KPIs
- Oversee the development and maintenance of dashboards and reporting systems
- Cultivate a culture of data curiosity and proactive problem-solving
- Develop and implement analytics strategies aligned with business objectives
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across all analytics projects
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- 6+ years of experience in data analytics, with at least 2 years in a management role
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations
- Strong background in statistical analysis, data visualization, and business intelligence tools
- Proven track record of driving data-driven decision-making in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in the travel or B2B SaaS industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Sigma)
- Strong project management and team leadership abilities
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Compensation
Our compensation packages are based on several factors, including your experience and expertise. In addition to a competitive base salary, total compensation may include equity and/or variable pay (OTE). Your recruiter will share your complete compensation package as you move through the process.
Base Pay Range
$175,000 - $195,000 USD
