About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Assistant Property Manager to support Wesley Sherow’s property management team in overseeing daily operations, resident relations, and basic rental accounting tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, people-oriented, and eager to grow in the real estate and property management field.
You will work closely with senior team members to ensure a smooth experience for residents and owners while keeping back-end processes efficient and up to date.
Key Responsibilities
- Resident Ledger Management: Keep resident accounts accurate and updated, including rent tracking and payment records.
- Basic Rental Accounting: Assist with rent processing, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Collections Support: Follow up on late payments and coordinate with residents on payment plans.
- Tenant Relations: Respond to resident concerns, enforce lease terms, and help maintain positive relationships.
- Administrative Support: Help with lease renewals, move-in/move-out coordination, and file management.
- Vendor Coordination: Assist with scheduling maintenance and communicating with vendors when needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience in property management or real estate (2+ years preferred).
- Comfortable working with resident ledgers and rental accounting tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized and able to juggle multiple tasks independently.
- Familiarity with property management software.
- Experience with account management or collections is a bonus.
