Job Description
We're looking for someone to help scale DoorDash's next billion dollar business, DashMart, by growing our in-house food program, DashMart Kitchens. The DashMart Kitchens team is focused on building a new type of restaurant platform within DashMart, offering a broad selection of prepared foods and well-known restaurant staples to our customers' doorsteps.
We're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join the Culinary Selection team within DashMart Kitchens (DMK). In this role, you’ll analyze brand and menu performance data, identifying opportunities to improve our menu selection and generating insights on customer preferences and selection gaps. Your work will directly inform how we evolve our culinary concepts, develop new menu items, and make data-driven decisions to better serve our customers.
This is a highly cross-functional role in which you will collaborate directly with our Culinary Development and Growth Marketing teams, supporting efforts to launch and scale high-performing menus and contributing to the overall success of our portfolio of brands.
If you’re passionate about food, eager to work at the intersection of data and creativity, and excited to build a strong foundation in strategy and analysis, we’d love to hear from you.
- Build. You'll have your fingerprints all over a critical vertical within DoorDash's next big business. You'll launch, get 1% better every day, and scale something completely new. This means everything from high-level strategy to minute operational details.
- Strategize. From fundamentals, you'll develop the strategy for improving and scaling our restaurant brands.
- Analyze. You'll assess the operational and financial performance of the DashMart Kitchens portfolio and iterate based on data-driven insights.
- Lead. You'll work with multiple teams, including R&D, kitchen operations, learning & development, supply chain, and growth to scale this line of business for DoorDash.
- You're excited to be creative on how you work through problems.
- You don't hesitate to get in the weeds and operate at the lowest level of detail, but you're as comfortable thinking long-term.
- You're unafraid of undefined processes. You are passionate about defining and carving out scope and processes. You excel at working with a diverse group of people.
- You love data. You let data win arguments, and you're comfortable modeling in Excel and SQL (can perform complex functions), and have experience using data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Sigma, etc.).
- You have 1-3+ years of experience. You've succeeded at expanding businesses (whether in tech, retail, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, or a related experience).
- You have completed your BS/BA Degree.
Applications for this position are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Verify Employer Thoroughly
Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.
Never Pay to Get a Job
Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.
Safeguard Your Personal Information
Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.
Scrutinize Communication & Interviews
Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.
Beware of Unrealistic Offers
If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.
Insist on a Formal Contract
Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
