Backed by $130M+ from top investors including Atomic, GV, WestCap, IVP, TCG, and Define Ventures, Found is redefining how personalized weight care is delivered at scale.

Found is seeking a mission-driven Associate Medical Director to support the growth, quality, and clinical excellence of our affiliated nationwide, virtual practice. This leader will directly contribute to our core goals of delivering innovative, technology-enabled obesity medicine at scale—anchored in safety, quality, and provider experience.

The ideal candidate is an experienced physician who brings telemedicine fluency, practice leadership, and a passion for advancing obesity care. You will balance direct patient care, provider quality oversight, and quality assurance responsibilities across a dynamic and rapidly expanding provider team of 100+ physicians and nurse practitioners.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership & Quality Oversight

  • Deliver high-quality synchronous and asynchronous obesity care within a collaborative, virtual-first model

  • Conduct clinical audits, chart reviews, and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives

  • Act as a clinical escalation point for complex cases or adverse events

  • Partner with clinical operations and compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence and clinical safety

Provider Support & Performance Management

  • Lead Learning and Development initiatives related to provider workflows and quality improvement, such as provider education and collaborative case reviews
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and 1:1 coaching for 1099 physicians and nurse practitioners as needed

  • Participate as a physician collaborator in NP collaboration agreements

  • Participate in the interviewing and onboarding of new clinicians as the practice grows

  • Conduct performance evaluations, participate in peer review processes, and support remediation where needed

  • Develop and oversee Pippen’s Clinical Lead program

  • Foster a culture of accountability, professional growth, and team cohesion

Provider Enablement & Innovation

  • Collaborate with the SVP of Clinical Strategy and Head of Medical Affairs to implement leading clinical guidelines and protocols to enable providers to deliver high-quality care at scale

  • Identify opportunities to improve clinical workflows, optimize efficiency, and enhance provider experience

  • Contribute to technology development and deployment by offering clinical feedback on product enhancements

Minimum Qualifications

  • MD or DO with active board certification in a relevant field

  • Completion of an accredited U.S. residency program

  • At least 3 years of independent clinical practice experience, preferably with time spent in a start up/health tech environment

  • Prior experience in a telemedicine-only environment, including both synchronous and asynchronous care

  • Strong command of digital health platforms and a track record of using technology to deliver care

  • Demonstrated experience in practice management, provider supervision, or quality and safety programs

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Unencumbered medical licenses, at least 3 active licenses

Preferred Attributes

  • Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM) or equivalent experience in obesity medicine

  • Self-starter with high accountability and comfort navigating ambiguity in a fast-growth setting

  • Collaborative leader with experience in partnering with Product and Operations teams

  • A passion for delivering innovative, patient-centered obesity care at scale

Benefits of Working With Found

  • Fully remote

  • Competitive salary

  • Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage

  • Opportunity to shape the future of obesity medicine and telehealth

  • A mission-driven, highly collaborative work environment

Safe Remote Job Search Tips

Verify Employer Thoroughly

Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.

Never Pay to Get a Job

Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.

Safeguard Your Personal Information

Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.

Scrutinize Communication & Interviews

Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.

Beware of Unrealistic Offers

If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.

Insist on a Formal Contract

Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
