Job Overview:
The Audit Specialist role with ABC Legal is a specialized position that operates within the Compliance Team. The primary focus of this position is the auditing of process servers who contract with ABC to ensure adherence to the rules and policies under which process servers are expected to operate, as required by ABC and their respective states. Audits are used to detect and prevent dishonesty and fraud, as well as to identify contractors who may benefit from additional training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct audits into process servers whose performance metrics or reporting statistics are outside of expected parameters. This includes analysis of large data sets, as well as reviewing individual records.
- Investigate concerns about process servers escalated from within Compliance or from outside departments
- Review credentials (driver licenses, insurance proofs, etc.) submitted by process servers during the onboarding process.
- Present and explain audit findings to fellow team members in weekly virtual meetings.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in a compliance or audit-related position preferred, but not required
- Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience communicating via email in a work setting
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient reading and writing skills in a professional setting essential
