The role
We are looking for a reliable Billing Specialist to perform tasks that will help us monitor our revenues. You will be responsible for keeping track of money owed to us by customers, preparing invoices and updating records.
As a billing clerk, you must be accurate and reliable in handling accounts and documents. Being good at math and a high degree of organizational skills are essential due to the great amount of financial information. Since you will be using technology to expedite your work, computer knowledge is required.
The goal is to contribute to the accurate preparation of bills receivable and safeguard the company’s income.
Role responsibilities
- Verify and validate billing data by reviewing contracts, purchase orders and project records to ensure correct invoicing
- Generate and issue invoices accurately and in a timely manner to support SLAs
- Create customer statements of account periodically or whenever necessary
- Generate revenue and keep accounting records up to date
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as Finance and Delivery, and with Client Group leaders to ensure smooth billing and revenue operations
- Handle customer billing inquiries by providing clear, professional responses and investigating any issues
- Monitor outstanding balances and identify discrepancies or overdue payments
- Send payment reminders and follow up with customers on outstanding invoices
Minimum qualifications

- Advanced level of English
- 4–6 years of proven experience as a Billing Clerk or in general Finance/Accounting roles.
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); Working knowledge of relevant software (e.g. Quickbooks) will be appreciated
- Excellent communication skills
- Adherence to laws and confidentiality guidelines
Preferred qualifications
- Academic background in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related areas
