Position Title: Business Operations Manager, Therapeutics & Innovations
Overview: We’re looking for a detail-oriented, autonomous, and proactive Business Operations Manager with a start-up mindset to manage vendor relationships, contracts, invoicing, and internal project coordination. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership, and moves easily between priorities. You’ll collaborate across teams, solve problems in real time, and help drive critical initiatives forward.

Key Responsibilities:

Vendor and Partner Relationship Management
Serve as the primary contact for vendors, handling day-to-day relationship management to ensure alignment and smooth communication. Proactively resolve issues, track deliverables, and maintain accountability. -
Invoicing and Accounts Payable
Prepare, submit, and track invoices; manage payment workflows and ensure timely processing and resolution of vendor bills. -
Contract and NDA Management
Own the process of drafting, submitting, and tracking NDAs, SOWs, and other agreements. Partner with Legal and Compliance to move contracts forward fast. -
Purchase Orders and Vendor Setup
Create and track POs, collect vendor documentation, and ensure all onboarding steps are completed quickly and correctly. -
Project Coordination and Project Management
Work closely with the research and cross-functional teams to define scopes, build timelines, assign responsibilities, and follow through on delivery. -
Operational Oversight
Own the details. Maintain project trackers and documentation, ensuring that all necessary approvals are secured for projects to move forward. -
Cross-Functional Project Management
Drive multi-team projects across the finish line. Break down complex workflows, manage logistics, and push progress without waiting to be asked. -
Wearing Multiple Hats
Adapt to shifting needs across operations, stepping into various roles—troubleshooting issues, prepping reports, leading vendor kickoffs, or resolving blockers—to maintain momentum and business continuity. -
Process Optimization
Identify inefficiencies and fix them. Implement improvements that simplify workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and help operations scale as the team grows.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Biological Sciences, Operations Management, or related field

Proven experience in business operations, including cross-functional collaboration, relationship management, and contract management

Strong organizational and execution skills, with an eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and build strong working relationships

Proficient in relevant software and tools for invoicing, contract tracking, and project management

Comfortable working in ambiguity and stepping in to solve problems as they arise, takes charge without waiting for direction, and does what it takes to get things done fast
