Campaign Assistant
GoodParty.org is looking for an experienced political campaign professional with a background in campaign management, field operations, and/or communications. You’re a relationship builder and candidate coach, adept at leveraging voter data to provide strategic insights and build targeted get out the vote campaigns. Success in this contract role looks like helping local and state candidates from across the ideological spectrum useGoodParty.org’s tools to win their election(s) this cycle.

Our AI-powered platform provides free tools to independent candidates to run their campaigns, connect with voters, and serve their communities effectively.

In 2024 we empowered 3,444 independent candidate wins across 48 states from all across the ideological spectrum. The only things our elected officials have in common is that they prioritize people over parties and community over corporate interests. What you’ll do:
Remotely support candidates in understanding their path to victory allowing them to utilizeGoodParty.org’s AI Campaign Manager to its fullest potential.
Analyze elections and voter data to generate insights that inform campaign strategies and decisions.
Support candidates in executing their voter contact campaigns (ie: peer-to-peer text messaging, targeted door-knocking, robocalling).
Contribute to online candidate communities (e.g. Circle) soGoodParty.org’s offerings are engaging and useful.
Collaborate with the product team to continuously improve our tools, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of political campaigns. Assist in enhancing and improving AI prompts and generative candidate content.
Provide comprehensive customer success services to ensure candidates' satisfaction and success.
Who we’re looking for:
You’re up for the audacious challenge of transforming our democracy for Good and don’t think the two-party system is the answer.
You have at least one year of campaign experience, with at least one election cycle in a campaign role or worked for other political software companies and have candidate-facing experience.
You have a track record of working on successful candidate campaigns.
You understand the numbers and can translate complex data into actionable insights about how campaigns are performing.
You make excellent use of systems to keep everything organized and speed up your work, including CRMs, AI tools, data tracking, and reporting tools.
You are effective using spreadsheets (Excel, Google Suite, etc.).
You have exceptional interpersonal skills with a knack for building and maintaining relationships.
You’re tangibly using ChatGPT or other AI tools professionally. You’re capable of translating your political experience into feedback for enhancing the product experience.
You’re adaptable to the changing nature of campaigns and enjoy creating and trying new tactics.
Bonus if:
You’ve used tools in our stack – Discord, HubSpot, Scale to Win, Ecanvasser, ChatGPT and other generative AI tools.
You have experience with the latest in political campaign technology.
You’ve worked with a voter file in the past and built paths to victory models for campaigns.

This is a US based, remote contractor role. We’re open to working with people who have 30 to 40 hours per week available. We’re able to pay between$20 to $30 per hour. The final pay rate will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, seniority, education, qualifications, certifications, and organizational needs.
