About the Role
SandboxAQ is seeking an execution-oriented Chief Revenue Officer to spearhead the commercial and public sector strategy, and hyper-growth of our Cybersecurity business.
Focused on scaling AQtive Guard - our groundbreaking solution for modern non-human identity and cryptography management already launching globally with major organizations like top-tier financial institutions and government agencies - you will build and drive our revenue engine.
Reporting to the General Manager of the Cybersecurity Business, this critical leadership role owns the entire revenue generation process, from initial engagement to long-term partnership, and will build a world-class team to shape the future of Cybersecurity at SandboxAQ.
What You'll Do
- Lead Revenue Strategy & Execution: Direct all sales activities, enterprise sales, process optimization, pipeline development, accurate forecasting, and opportunity management to closure.
- Drive Scalable ARR Growth: Own and execute plans to deliver ambitious revenue targets and scale Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR).
- Build & Lead Global Revenue Teams: Recruit, onboard, coach, and manage a high-performing, distributed organization across Sales, Channel Sales, Solutions Architecture, Account Management, Customer Success, and RevOps.
- Define & Implement Customer Success: Establish and champion efficient customer onboarding, configuration, and post-contract success strategies to build trust and drive growth.
- Oversee Sales Operations & Analytics: Implement and manage data-driven sales operations, defining KPIs, tracking performance, and providing regular reporting.
- Develop Strategic Partnerships: Establish and manage channel and go-to-market partnerships to expand market reach and accelerate revenue growth.
- Contribute to Market Positioning & Pricing: Collaborate with Product and Marketing to define ideal customer profiles, product messaging, and inform pricing strategies based on market insights.
- Ensure Value-Driven Sales: Partner with Product and Marketing to integrate value propositions into customer engagements and drive urgency in decision-making.
- Cultivate High-Performance Culture: Foster a results-oriented and collaborative revenue team aligned with SandboxAQ's core values.
- Be a Champion for the Customer: Serve as the internal voice of the customer, ensuring feedback informs strategy and aligns revenue activities with long-term value and retention.
About You
- 10+ years of experience directly developing markets for Cybersecurity and/or AI SaaS products.
- Progressive career driving revenue growth, coupled with demonstrable success scaling revenue within fast-paced, venture-backed startups, ideally at a CRO or equivalent level.
- Experience leading go-to-market strategies for first mover or category-creating SaaS products.
- Experience leading go-to-market teams from early stages, and scaling the teams with revenue growth.
- Proven success in building and managing strategic channel sales programs from the ground up.
- Experience successfully positioning products to Financial Services, Government, Technology companies, and Retail industries.
- Willingness and ability to undertake frequent travel for key client engagements, internal team collaboration, and industry events.
- Possessing an MBA or other relevant advanced degree is preferred.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be $333k-$467k per year. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This role may be eligible for annual discretionary bonuses and equity.
