As a Cloud Engineer, you’ll play a key role in managing, automating, and securing our cloud infrastructure. You’ll collaborate closely with software engineers to support containerized applications, streamline CI/CD workflows, and maintain secure, scalable environments. The Cloud Engineering team also handles DevOps responsibilities across the organization.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing cloud environments (primarily AWS and GCP) with a focus on reliability, scalability, and security
- Supporting container-based applications (e.g., ECS, Cloud Run, etc.) using Docker or equivalent technologies
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Writing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to provision and manage infrastructure (Terraform, Pulumi, or similar)
- Responding to cloud security alerts and findings, and assisting in security posture improvements
- Participating in the team’s on-call rotation
- Supporting developers with database environments (mainly RDS and DocumentDB), ensuring performance and operational readiness
- Using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to automate, troubleshoot, and code more efficiently
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who’s proactive, curious, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment. You should be eager to use modern tools, especially AI-driven workflows, and enjoy solving platform challenges collaboratively.
Ideal candidates will have:
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in a Cloud, DevOps, or Platform Engineering role
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP infrastructure and services
- Experience with containerization platforms like Docker or Podman
- Proficiency in building CI/CD workflows, especially using GitHub Actions
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi, or similar)
- Basic scripting ability (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation and tooling
- Awareness of cloud security best practices and willingness to respond to alerts and remediation tasks
- Comfort supporting cloud-managed databases (SQL and NoSQL) in collaboration with dev teams
- Enthusiasm for using AI tools to accelerate tasks, write code, and solve technical problems efficiently
