About the Role:
The Compliance Specialist will coordinate, perform, and/or oversee license renewals, form filings, and ensure the company's compliance with state regulations. The individual will have previous Compliance experience within the warranty and/or insurance industry and experience in project management.
What you’ll do:
- Coordinate and optimize cross-functional workflows to ensure the accurate and timely renewal of corporate registrations and service contract and insurance licenses.
- Oversee form filings with state insurance regulators utilizing SERFF.
- Coordinate process for responding to state objections.
- Maintain centralized compliance records and tracking reports.
- Monitor merchant licensing status and automate email outreach program to gain compliance.
- Draft, review, and edit terms and conditions.
- Assist in reviewing marketing assets for compliance.
- Conduct monthly merchant compliance audits.
- Relationship management with internal and external business partners and state regulators.
- Other projects as assigned.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Compliance management certification preferred.
- Project management experience with intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Google Workspace, and other programs.
- Experience in compliance within the property and casualty insurance, extended warranty, and service contract industries.
- Experience using SERFF.
- Solid analytic, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Strong and proficient written and oral communication style
- Good time management and organization skills with emphasis on identifying priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High ethical standards including the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive, non-public, corporate information.
- Willingness to seek opportunities for learning and development within the compliance discipline.
Estimated Pay Range: $57,000 – $82,000 per year salaried*
* The target base salary range for this position is listed above. Individual salaries are determined based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
