The primary mission of the Marketplace segment is to help consumers “shop their values” and put purpose behind their purchases. PublicSquare leverages data and insights from the Marketplace to assess its customers’ needs and provide wholly-owned quality financial products and brands. PublicSquare’s Financial Technology segment includes Credova, a consumer financing and payments company. PublicSquare’s Brands segment consists of D2C companies, like EveryLife, a premium life-affirming baby products company.
Your Mission
Develop compelling merchandising themes and execute content strategies that guide customers toward trial and repeat purchase. Surface the most relevant products for the user through manual curation and machine-driven strategies.Tell the stories of our makers and our families to grow the community and build trust. Use performance data and collaborate across teams to showcase the best of PublicSquare on our site, and in owned and earned channels..
Responsibilities
- Build a deep knowledge of our merchants and the catalog to select the best placements across the site.
- Collaborate with the Creative Director and Community Manager to plan weekly merchandising and content themes (seasonal, promotional, storytelling).
- Write headlines, descriptions, and design visuals for the homepage, category pages, collections, and other owned channels.
- Use Figma, Adobe, and Canva to create and manage visual assets and coordinate with other designer partners.
- Post and manage product and collection content to ensure clear, consistent, and engaging messaging.
- Optimize site pages to improve navigation and increase conversions.
- Audit product listings regularly to ensure accuracy and alignment with brand standards.
- Leverage analytics to assess the performance of featured content and iterate on machine-driven strategies.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in digital content or marketplace curation.
- Strong eye for visual storytelling and strong writing skills.
- Proficiency with Figma and marketing assets. Videography and post-production skills are a bonus.
- Familiarity with SEO and content structuring best practices for digital retail.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of balancing multiple timelines.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data and apply them to the content strategy.
- Collaborative, proactive communicator who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.
