About the Role

As Content Manager, you will be responsible for developing, producing, and optimizing high-impact content that supports our marketing goals and strengthens our brand presence. You’ll work closely with marketing, product, and design teams to ensure our messaging is consistent, engaging, and tailored to our target audiences. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves rolling up their sleeves and making things happen in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Content Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute a content strategy aligned with you.com’s marketing objectives and growth targets, focusing on both short-term campaigns and long-term brand building.
  • Content Creation & Management: Write, edit, and publish engaging content across multiple channels, including blog posts, landing pages, email campaigns, product copy, and social media.
  • Editorial Oversight: Maintain an editorial calendar, manage freelance writers or contributors, and ensure all content meets brand guidelines and quality standards.
  • SEO & Performance Optimization: Optimize content for SEO and user engagement, using analytics to track performance and inform future content decisions.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with product, design, and sales teams to support launches, campaigns, and customer education initiatives.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all content reflects You.com’s voice, values, and positioning, helping to establish a consistent and compelling brand identity.
  • Hands-On Execution: Take ownership of content production from ideation to publication, including hands-on writing, editing, and publishing.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on content management experience in a startup SaaS company.
  • Proven ability to create and manage high-quality, engaging content for B2B and B2C SaaS audiences.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience with SEO, content management systems, and analytics tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Equivalent experience or relevant coursework in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

Our salary bands are structured based on a combination of geographic tiers and internal leveling. Compensation is determined by multiple factors assessed during the interview process, with the final offer reflecting these considerations.

Salary Band
$140,000$160,000 USD
