About the Role:
We’re seeking a Content Marketing Specialist (fixed-term) to join our growing Content Marketing team. This role is perfect for an early-career marketer with a passion for writing, research, and performance-driven content. You’ll focus on SEO content development, creating and optimizing blog posts, landing pages, social media copy, video content, customer stories, and other content needs that arise, which improves search visibility and drives pipeline. Additionally, as an integral part of the Content Marketing team, you’ll help us stay organized, supporting editorial planning, content calendars, WordPress and reporting tool management, and campaign execution. What You'll Do:
- Write, edit, and optimize SEO content (blog posts, web pages, video content, etc.) in collaboration with marketing and SEO leads
- Support multimedia content production, including customer stories, short-form video, social content, and email campaigns
- Assist in maintaining the editorial calendar and tracking content across campaigns, personas, and funnel stages
- Help conduct content audits, keyword research, and performance analysis
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product marketing, design, web, and demand gen to support content needs across the business
- Ensure all content aligns with Motive’s brand voice, style guide, and performance goals
- Bring creative energy to brainstorms and be a team player, ready to roll up your sleeves
What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience in content marketing, digital marketing, SEO, journalism, or a related field (internships and freelance work count!)
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
- A strong understanding of SEO best practices and how content drives performance
- Experience with generative AI for content creation, refinement, and measurement
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills
- A self-starter who’s eager to learn, iterate, and grow
- Experience with CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress), Google Analytics, and/or SEO tools (e.g. SEMrush, Ahrefs) is a plus
- A passion for storytelling, technology, and learning new things
Pay Transparency
Your compensation may be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications. For certain roles, total compensation may include restricted stock units.
