The Marketing department aims to encourage the world to be as enthusiastic about our products as we are. We have more than twenty different teams with specific areas of focus. Our teams are sharp, highly skilled, and data-driven, focusing on customer acquisition and monetization initiatives.
We are seeking a talented and experienced Copywriter to spearhead our content creation and localization efforts for the Japanese market. This role is pivotal in adapting and transcreating English content to resonate with the Japanese audience, managing our blog, and setting the tone of voice for our communications in Japan.
- Content Creation and Localization:Adapt and transcreate marketing materials, including website content, app interfaces, PPC ads, and campaigns from English to Japanese, ensuring creativity and market relevance;
- Blog Management:Write, manage, and optimize blog content and landing pages, collaborating closely with the SEO team to research and identify impactful topics. Stay informed on topics and trends relevant to the business (cybersecurity, regulations, pop culture) to generate fresh ideas;
- External Content: Develop and write content for external partners, such as affiliates, advertorials, newsletters, and both online and print copy;
- Quality Control: Monitor and proofread existing content across platforms, providing feedback to freelancers to enhance quality;
- Tone of Voice:Define and maintain the Japanese market's tone of voice in alignment with our English guidelines.
- Japanese speaker with a strong command of English;
- At least 2 years of experience in digital copywriting and/or translating, with a portfolio showcasing your work in Japanese;
- Proven experience in localizing marketing content from English to Japanese and creating engaging, original copy from scratch;
- Intermediate/High SEO knowledge, with an ability to write SERP-optimized and conversion-oriented blog content;
- Independent worker capable of managing tasks and priorities without direct supervision;
- Familiarity with CAT tools, especially Crowdin, is a plus but not mandatory;
- Active interest in technology, cybersecurity, and innovation, with a readiness to learn and adapt.
