Your Role:

Tenable is seeking a Customer Success Engineer to drive renewal business and customer upsell through technical expertise and positive customer experience. You will partner with Customer Success Managers and a strong team of peers to differentiate Tenable solutions from our competitors, drive lifetime customers by reinforcing the unique business value they are looking for, and, most importantly, establish raving fans of Tenable throughout your area of influence.

Your Opportunity:

  • Become an Exposure Management Subject Matter Expert and advisor to some of the world’s largest organizations
  • Advise existing clients on best practices, discuss security challenges and business objectives, and ensure optimal customer experience and outcomes across the full Tenable product suite
  • Map Tenable’s unique business value and differentiators to customer challenges and business drivers
  • Partner with like-minded peers across Tenable to build exceptionally strong teams and share knowledge
  • Influence product directions, make a difference, and contribute to Tenable’s growth and leadership in Exposure Management

What You'll Need:

  • 4+ years experience working in IT/security
  • Skill and confidence in leading discussions at the technical level as well as the executive level
  • Ability to work cross-functionally within Tenable to bring together solutions for our customers
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to respond quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to learn and apply new skills efficiently
  • A strong self-starter attitude and determination to win
  • Solid teamwork and Interpersonal skills

And Ideally:

  • Experience in a customer-facing Technical Role
  • BS in Computer Science or a related field
  • SANS/GIAC, (ISC)², ISACA, CompTIA or other security-related certifications
  • Experience with or knowledge of the following:
  • Tenable Products and/or other enterprise security technologies
  • Vulnerability Management
  • Active Directory or Identity and Access Management
  • TCP/IP and networking technologies
  • Enterprise-class operating systems at the security admin level
  • Cloud computing infrastructures such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
  • API scripting

This is the base pay range for this position. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, location and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. Employees are also eligible for variable compensation in addition to base pay (commission for sales roles, bonus for non-sales roles), depending on company and individual performance. $113,000$151,000 USD
