Job Description
Cyber Network Engineers ensure network-related services are functioning normally, troubleshoot issues, and implement relevant upgrades. Their core responsibility is to ensure that network security services, software, etc. are running effectively.
Responsibilities
- Gain in-depth knowledge of SGI offered Network Security software suites.
- Perform in-depth analysis and diagnosis for network products & applications.
- Assist and train partners on the procedures for implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Network Security products & services.
- Respond to customers experiencing technical issues via the ticketing system or phone in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
- Work closely with team members and vendor support teams to deliver solutions to complex technical issues, while also delivering high-level support to customers.
- Diagnose, research, reproduce and log reported defects working with Network Security vendor’s engineering departments.
- Assist in the development of training materials to empower support personnel; acts as team mentor as needed.
- Document technical resolutions to increase the Network Security product & services support knowledge base as needed.
- Stay up to date on the latest Network Security products and services, industry best practices, and customer needs; attend applicable training, conferences, and learn new tools as needed.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of related experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
