The Role

We are currently seeking a Dental Admissions Consultant. If you have a passion for mentoring, consulting, and education, this could be the role for you! You’ll work closely with students, provide personalized guidance, monitor academic progress, and support them through every stage of the Dental School admissions process. This role can be located anywhere in the United States or Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Work with prospective dental school candidates, helping them identify opportunities to enhance their profiles and draft compelling application materials
  • Manage relationships with applicants and families while providing strategic and tactical guidance on school selection, personal statements, CVs, recommendations, interviews, and the overall dental school application process
  • Identify optimal dental schools and programs for individual students; provide detailed feedback and guidance on their research into specific schools, ensuring alignment with the student’s background, goals, and specialty interests
  • Support students with project planning, helping them create and adhere to effective timelines through Excel-based trackers or other tools
  • Stay up-to-date on the dental school application process, including ADEA AADSAS, DAT preparation, and program-specific requirements, to advise prospective and existing clients on appropriate school selection and application strategies

Qualifications

  • 3rd or 4th year dental student, or graduate of a top U.S. dental school
  • Experience mentoring students through the dental school application process; admissions committee or selection board experience preferred
  • Passion for coaching and mentoring
  • Strong planning, organizational, and project management skills
  • Excellent English reading, writing, and editing abilities
  • Strong verbal communication skills
