Developer Relations Engineer-FME (Technical Writer)

Position Summary
About the role
- Directly own technical documentation for Feature Management & Experimentation (FME) module
- Be hands-on. Develop and maintain resources for users, such as demos and software tools, code samples, documentation, release notes, how-to guides, tutorials, and training videos
- Collaborate with PMs to ensure documentation and other artifacts are in alignment with product direction and vision
- Understand the Harness platform and its DevOps ecosystem to bring different FME use cases to the forefront in synergy with other Harness products
- Gain insight into feature management and experimentation domain
- Understand competitors in the feature management and experimentation spac
About you
- 3+ years as a developer and 1+ years in an advocacy or educational role such as developer relations/evangelism, creating technical content, leading a community of developers via forums or events
- You have 3+ examples of technical educational content aimed for professional developers (e.g. tutorial, video series, blog series, course)
- Example of at least one professional project using feature flags, experimentation, release monitoring, observability, or other DevOps technologies
- Preference for those with expertise in feature flags, release monitoring, experimentation, and CI/CD
- Familiarity with the latest DevOps and Platform engineering practices followed by mid to large organizations
- Stellar written and verbal communication skill

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $110,000 and $130,000 annually. Salary is determined by a combination of factors including location, level, relevant experience, and skills. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
