The Role
We are hiring a Director of Business Development Operations to help lead our proposal and pursuit operations. This role is central to how we grow: you will quarterback the entire process of turning opportunities into projects—from the first client brief all the way through to signed paperwork. You will bring order, speed, and excellence to one of the most critical and cross-functional parts of the business.
You’ll work across sales, account management, solutioning/strategy, technology delivery, legal, and leadership to ensure we respond to each opportunity with precision, polish, and power. If you have intellectual curiosity, and have ever run a pitch process or managed complex programs–this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
Opportunity Vetting
- Maintain and enforce a rigorous vetting framework to evaluate whether an opportunity is worth pursuing
- Partner with sales and leadership to validate fit, impact, and strategic value
Proposal “Quarterbacking”
- Serve as the single point of accountability from brief through close for each opportunity
- Organize internal teams, run timelines, and ensure high-quality, on-time proposal delivery
- Act as the connective tissue across Solutioning/Strategy, Delivery, R&D, Account, and Legal teams
Proposal Development
- Own the full proposal process—structure, story, and schedule–from “hands-on” creation of certain elements to oversight of other cross-discipline team members you task with drafting specific components of the final deliverable
- Ensure proposals are aligned to client needs and showcase Turing’s unique capabilities
- Coordinate the development of clear, compelling deliverables including approach, budget, timeline, team structure, and pricing
Assets & Enablement
- Create and maintain reusable proposal assets (e.g., decks, case studies, pricing models, resourcing templates, legal templates)
- Drive proposal quality and consistency without reinventing the wheel every time
Strategic “Casting”
- Coordinate the right internal team members to join the right client meetings at the right moments
- Work closely with Sales and Account leadership to ensure meetings are impactful and well-executed
Contracting & Paperwork
- Manage the creation and finalization of all legal and operational paperwork, including SOWs and MSAs, in collaboration with Legal
- Ensure scope, budget, and resourcing are clearly defined and agreed upon in final documentation
Who You Are
- A high-functioning operator who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
- 7–10+ years experience in roles such as Growth Ops, Program Management, Strategic Operations, or Sales Enablement in a tech or consulting context
- Experienced with complex proposals and/or pitch management in a B2B setting
- A natural organizer and communicator—capable of aligning stakeholders across levels and disciplines
- Confident working with senior executives and technical leaders alike
- Familiar with technology and digital products (AI familiarity is a bonus but not a must)
Advantages of joining Turing:
- Amazing work culture (Super collaborative & supportive work environment; 5 days a week)
- Awesome colleagues (Surround yourself with top talent from Meta, Google, LinkedIn etc. as well as people with deep startup experience)
- Competitive compensation
- Flexible working hours
- Full-time remote opportunity

Verify Employer Thoroughly
Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.
Never Pay to Get a Job
Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.
Safeguard Your Personal Information
Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.
Scrutinize Communication & Interviews
Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.
Beware of Unrealistic Offers
If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.
Insist on a Formal Contract
Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
