We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and data driven Director of Creditor Relationships to partner directly with the Vice President of Creditor Relationships in a high impact role. This position plays a critical part in shaping and executing our creditor engagement strategy, leveraging data to drive decisions, and maintaining key relationships with executive level stakeholders across the debt relief and recovery industries.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in financial services, business strategy, or relationship management, along with excellent communication skills, operational acumen, and an understanding on how to use data to influence direction and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Relationship Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for executive level representatives at creditor institutions. Build and nurture long-term relationships to ensure alignment, trust and collaboration. Represent the company in high-level discussions, strategic planning sessions and in-person at industry conferences.
- Onboarding: Assist in onboarding new relationships and become familiar with all aspects of the processes with new partners.
- Operational Coordination: Assist in tracking and organizing key processes related to creditor agreements, negotiations, and deliverables.
- Cross Functional Leadership & Communication: Partner with internal teams including operations, compliance, legal, and analytics to ensure alignment and consistency. Communicate complex issues and strategic updates clearly and confidently to internal and external senior leadership. Prepare and deliver presentations for senior execs and external partners.
- Data Driven Decision Making: Analyze portfolio performance and creditor specific trends to guide internal strategies and external communications. Understand and track data visualizations, dashboards, and executive level reports to identify opportunities, forecast outcomes, and support negotiation efforts.Translate insights into strategic recommendations that support business objectives.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in financial services, relationship management, business development, or a related strategic role.
- Proven track record of working directly with senior leadership and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
- Advanced skills in data analysis, interpretation, and reporting. (Excel, Looker, or similar tools)
- Strong written and verbal communications skills with a polished, executive-ready presence.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and skilled in prioritizing across multiple workstreams.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the debt relief industry or financial services sector.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with a variety of stakeholders.
- Experience influencing or setting strategy at the organizational or departmental level.
