About the role and why it’s unique:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Director, Digital Performance Marketing to lead and scale our digital advertising efforts across key channels. This is a strategic leadership role that requires deep expertise in Paid Social, Paid Search, Programmatic Display, as well as strong knowledge in new channel testing, incrementality, and capital allocation. The ideal candidate will thrive in high-growth, fast-paced environments and bring a mix of creativity, analytics, and leadership to optimize our digital marketing performance and drive business growth.
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive digital performance marketing strategies, focusing on Paid Social, Paid Search, Programmatic Display, and new channel testing to maximize ROI and meet business goals.
- Oversee daily operations of paid media campaigns across multiple channels. Drive initiatives that test new strategies, optimize existing tactics, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Lead media budget strategy, capital allocation, and ensure efficient budget distribution across channels, ensuring alignment with overall business and growth objectives.
- Implement and measure incrementality, ensuring performance marketing investments contribute to long-term value by maximizing customer lifetime value (LTV).
- Collaborate closely with media planning teams to optimize ad creatives, messaging, and targeting to drive conversions, brand awareness, and growth. A/B test and optimize across channels for continuous improvement.
- Utilize data and analytics to track, measure, and analyze campaign performance, making real-time optimizations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Build out reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for executive leadership.
- Work closely with other departments, including product, finance, strategy, creative, and analytics teams, to ensure alignment across business goals and integrated digital marketing strategies.
- Manage and mentor a team of digital marketing professionals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture while providing guidance on best practices in digital marketing and performance analytics.
- Adapt and lead the digital marketing team in a dynamic, high-growth environment, ensuring that all initiatives are executed with speed, precision, and agility.
Who you are:
- 7+ years of experience in digital performance marketing with a deep focus on Paid Social, Paid Search, and Programmatic Display advertising.
- Strong background in data analysis, incrementality testing, and understanding of metrics such as customer lifetime value (LTV), return on ad spend (ROAS), and cost per acquisition (CPA).
- Proven experience managing and mentoring teams of digital marketers, providing strategic guidance and driving performance.
- Expertise in managing digital performance marketing campaigns across multiple channels (Paid Social, Paid Search, Programmatic Display), with hands-on experience in testing new channels and scaling successful strategies.
- Experience in capital allocation and media budget strategy, with a strong understanding of how to effectively allocate resources to maximize growth and efficiency.
- Demonstrated ability to drive growth and scale digital performance campaigns in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex digital marketing strategies and results to senior leadership.
Even better if you have:
- Experience with advanced analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Excel, Tableau, and other reporting platforms to monitor campaign performance and generate insights.
- Experience with emerging digital channels (e.g., TikTok, Amazon Ads) and a proven track record in testing and scaling new marketing platforms.
- Experience in Real Money Gaming, or other high-growth verticals where digital marketing plays a central role in driving customer acquisition and retention.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Google Ads, Facebook Blueprint, or other relevant industry certifications are a plus.
- Experience with advanced incrementality techniques, such as geo-testing, match-back studies, or mixed media modeling.
Our target starting base salary range for this position is between $195,000 and $240,000, plus target equity. The starting base salary will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s skills and experience, among other things.
