About the Role
Rula is seeking a Director of Finance Systems to manage and optimize the infrastructure for all Finance systems, including NetSuite, Pigment, Ramp, Bill, our new procurement tool, the month-end close tool, and Hex for revenue reporting. This role will focus on driving operational efficiencies, automating manual processes, and empowering the Finance team to enhance its support for business needs while ensuring the implementation of relevant SOX controls. The Director of Finance Systems will also take on project management responsibilities for system implementations, updates, and managing the overhaul of the chart of accounts, including overseeing data migration. This position requires cross-functional collaboration with teams such as Accounting, FP&A, Financial Operations, Procurement, HR, Engineering, Sales & Marketing, and Analytics to streamline processes and maximize efficiencies.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
10+ years of experience managing finance systems, NetSuite experience required
Strong project management experience, particularly in leading system implementations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey complex ideas to diverse audiences, including senior stakeholders
Proven ability to drive process improvements and automation
Strong experience in cross-functional collaboration

Experience with managing large volume transactions
Experience with data migration and chart of accounts restructuring
Certified NetSuite Administrator (highly preferred)
Experience with Pigment, Ramp, Bill, and Hex or similar
