POSITION SUMMARY: This individual will serve as the primary analytics and intelligence advisor to the oncology business unit to support data-driven decisions that incorporate market dynamics and product objectives. The role will be essential in informing the strategic approach across the Natera oncology portfolio, driving physician utilization and optimizing patient impact. This individual will partner cross-functionally to develop strategic frameworks that guide portfolio prioritization and positioning. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Oncology Marketing.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Co-develop tumor-specific market opportunity assessments and gap analyses in collaboration with tumor marketing leads, synthesizing insights from diverse sources, including qualitative research, HCP input, field feedback, Salesforce data, and secondary analytics.

Own the synthesis and strategic framing of tumor-level and pan-oncology market opportunities, supporting long-term planning efforts and prioritization trade-offs across the portfolio.

Support the development of cross-portfolio positioning strategies and messaging frameworks for commercial and business development initiatives.

Design and lead execution of primary market research (e.g., ATUs) and triangulate findings with secondary data sources to maintain a current understanding of customer behavior and evolving market dynamics.

Quantify the total addressable market (TAM) and evaluate market opportunity for both existing and future oncology offerings

Collaborate with field analytics, field leadership, and marketing partners to identify growth opportunities through segmentation, ROI analysis, and tactical performance.

Partner with tumor marketing leads to develop KPIs and dashboards that track progress toward strategic and operational goals.

Contribute to cross-functional planning initiatives, including inputs for quarterly earnings, brand planning, and tactical execution plans.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in life sciences required; advanced degree (MBA, PhD) preferred.

2+ years of experience in strategic or management consulting required.

7–10 years of experience in product marketing, field sales, or market analytics within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences industry.

Oncology experience strongly preferred.

Ability to travel up to 25% (includes advisory boards, industry congresses, sales/marketing meetings, and customer engagements).
