About the Role

As an Enterprise Solutions Leader at Ramp, you will lead and scale a high-performing team of Enterprise Solutions Consultants, serving as a strategic partner to our largest and most complex customers, including Fortune 500 companies and government agencies. Your focus will be on driving solution strategy, technical excellence, and enterprise deal success. You will be accountable for the execution of customer-aligned solution architectures, guiding your team to deliver consultative, technically sound, and value-focused engagements from discovery through implementation.

This leadership role requires deep technical and financial acumen, exceptional storytelling, and a bias toward action. You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to design bespoke enterprise workflows, advocate for product improvements, and scale best practices across Ramp’s go-to-market motion. Your contributions will directly influence Ramp’s enterprise growth, customer satisfaction, and long-term roadmap. This role is open to candidates for Sr. Manager or Director, according to experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Enterprise Solutions Consultants, ensuring skill development, performance, and alignment with Ramp’s enterprise strategy.

  • Partner closely with Enterprise Account Executives to drive deal progression through technical discovery, compelling solution design, and high-impact presentations to C-level stakeholders.

  • Architect complex, customized solutions that align Ramp’s capabilities with enterprise customer needs, spanning ERP integrations, financial workflows, API infrastructure, and data architecture.

  • Oversee the execution of advanced technical and accounting implementations in collaboration with Sales Engineering and Post-Sales teams.

  • Represent customer needs internally by partnering with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to influence roadmap priorities and surface enterprise feedback.

  • Develop reusable frameworks, demo environments, and technical assets to enable consistent, scalable delivery across enterprise engagements.

  • Lead enterprise evaluations including RFIs, RFPs, security reviews, and ROI analyses—ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with customer goals.

  • Serve as an executive-facing thought partner, articulating the strategic value of Ramp’s platform across financial and operational functions.

  • Support strategic initiatives, including vertical expansion with a focus on enterprise segments such as government, public sector, and regulated industries.

What You’ll Need

  • 6+ years of experience in Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or similar customer-facing roles, with at least 4 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.

  • Deep understanding of enterprise financial systems and accounting workflows

  • Proven ability to lead complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, technical due diligence, and long-term transformation planning.

  • Hands-on experience with ERP, IdP, HRIS, and other enterprise platforms, as well as integration technologies such as SFTP, APIs, and ETL tools.

  • Strong executive presence and communication skills—capable of translating technical concepts into business value for C-level audiences.

  • Demonstrated success operating in a fast-paced, high-growth startup or scale-up environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Exceptional organizational, project management, and time management abilities.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with or experience selling into the government vertical, including public procurement cycles and compliance considerations.

  • Technical proficiency in one or more languages such as Python, SQL, or Java.

  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and enterprise authentication/security protocols.

Safe Remote Job Search Tips

Verify Employer Thoroughly

Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.

Never Pay to Get a Job

Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.

Safeguard Your Personal Information

Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.

Scrutinize Communication & Interviews

Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.

Beware of Unrealistic Offers

If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.

Insist on a Formal Contract

Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
