TITLE: Director, Product Management, Growth
LOCATION: REMOTE - U.S.
THE ROLE:
The Director, Product Management, Growth is a critical leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth through experimentation, pricing optimization, user acquisition, and retention strategies. The ideal candidate is an expert in product-led growth with a proven track record of delivering results in high-scale B2C environments. They bring strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of growth levers, and a relentless focus on optimizing the user journey to drive business outcomes.
This leader will manage and mentor a team of growth-focused product managers, fostering a culture of experimentation, agility, and continuous learning. They will work cross-functionally with marketing, engineering, design, and data science teams to design and execute initiatives that accelerate growth. The Director must be comfortable operating at both a strategic and tactical level—defining the growth strategy while also ensuring the day-to-day execution of experiments and optimizations.
The Director of Product-Led Growth will report directly to the VP of Product and play a pivotal role in shaping Splice’s future by tightly connecting product performance with company revenue goals.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Own and drive Splice’s product-led growth strategy, aligning experimentation, pricing optimization, acquisition, and retention initiatives with overall company goals.
- Communicate growth plans, results, and learnings clearly and effectively to senior leadership and across teams, ensuring transparency, alignment, and momentum.
- Define, establish, and monitor key growth metrics (conversion, retention, revenue per user, churn) to measure impact, identify opportunities, and drive data-informed decisions.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing growth product team, building a culture of experimentation, agility, and accountability.
- Personally contribute to day-to-day growth initiatives — defining hypotheses, prioritizing experiments, analyzing results, and iterating quickly based on learnings.
- Champion a customer-centric, data-driven approach, leveraging market research, customer insights, and behavioral data to optimize every stage of the user journey.
- Solve complex growth challenges creatively and pragmatically, balancing short-term impact with long-term user and business health in a fast-paced environment.
- Establish and operationalize a scalable experimentation process across Splice, defining how teams propose, prioritize, run, and review experiments.
- Build systems for tracking progress, reporting learnings, and celebrating wins and failures transparently to drive a culture of rapid iteration and learning.
- Champion a growth mindset across teams by fostering collaboration between Product, Engineering, Design, Data Science, and Marketing to increase experimentation velocity.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in product management, growth, or optimization roles for B2C software products, with a strong track record of delivering measurable growth results.
- Deep expertise in experimentation frameworks, funnel optimization, A/B testing, monetization strategies, and data-driven decision-making.
- Proven leadership experience — building, mentoring, and scaling growth or product teams, fostering a culture of innovation and ownership.
- Proven track record of driving conversion rate improvements and increasing user retention through structured experimentation and iterative optimization.
- Strong execution skills, able to balance strategic planning with hands-on prioritization, project management, and rapid iteration.
- Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence diverse teams and align stakeholders around growth priorities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with comfort navigating ambiguity, making informed trade-offs, and moving quickly.
- Solid understanding of user experience (UX) principles and how UX impacts conversion, retention, and lifetime value; ability to weave UX insights into growth strategies.
- Passion for building agile, experiment-driven teams with a bias for action, learning, and continuous improvement.

The national pay range for this role is $180,000 - $225,000. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience.
