Your Role:
As an employee of Offshore Launch, you are being hired for a unique role within a target Client’s company. We value long-term partnerships, and seek to recruit talent that will serve an individual Client’s business for multiple years.
You will work full-time with the Client company. However, the Agency provides ongoing support to ensure your continued success. As such, we create space for ongoing check-ins, feedback and development through:
- Membership in the Offshore Launch Slack workspace
- Bi-weekly All Team meetings
- Monthly reviews

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-obsessed, methodical Drafting Paralegal who is eager to learn and grow within our legal operations team. This is a client-centered estate planning law firm that values precision, consistency, and excellence. This position requires transferable specific skills, but no legal experience is required—a sharp eye for detail, a commitment to excellence, and an appreciation for structure and systems is essential. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter and review client data into drafting software systems
- Draft legal documents using provided software, templates and checklists
- Proofread and edit documents to eliminate errors and ensure consistency
- Conduct document reviews for formatting, grammar, and internal consistency
- Assist attorneys by completing assignments on time and ahead of schedule
- Manage and prioritize multiple client files and tasks simultaneously
- Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality deliverables and efficient workflows

- Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 9AM to 5PM EST (potentially flexible after training)
Preferred Background & Skills
- Strong proofreading, copy-editing, or data entry experience
- Experience in journalism, publishing, transcription, document review, or document processing is a plus
- Familiarity with legal drafting software (a plus, not required)
- Familiarity with estate planning documents: wills, trusts, deeds, powers of attorney (a plus, but not required)
- Excellent written communication and grammar skills
- Fluent in English with desire to learn legal terms
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and tech-savvy
Compensation
- Up to $1,500/mo depending on experience
- $500 bonus at 90-day mark
- 13th month pay
- Comprehensive HMO (including dependents)
- Annual PTO and US holidays

The Client is not involved in compensation or benefits. As an employee of Offshore Launch, all compensation and benefits are to be provided by the Agency.
