The Role

We’re seeking an experienced Epic Business Intelligence Consultant who can serve as a data expert for our client partnerships. You’ll guide healthcare systems in how to leverage Epic’s Clarity, Caboodle, and operational data (including Signal and UAL) to assess the impact of our solutions. Your work will directly inform ROI cases, clinician efficiency analyses, and strategic decision-making for our partners and internal teams.

What You'll Do

  • Act as a data consultant to health systems implementing our technology.

  • Collaborate with analysts and project managers at the partner team to identify key metrics and measurement approaches across Epic data sources (e.g., Clarity, Signal, UAL).

  • Support partners in building dashboards to measure clinician efficiency, workflow adoption, and other impact areas.

  • Translate business questions into SQL queries and/or measurement plans using Epic’s data models.

  • Review and validate reports and dashboards with our partners for accuracy and impact.

  • Lead internal strategies around impact measures and data collection, tying to business goals around engagement and growth.

  • Help standardize reporting templates and methodologies that scale across clients.

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years working directly with Epic Clarity data models.

  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with clinical and operational data.

  • Experience with Epic Signal and UAL data and understanding of how to measure provider efficiency.

  • Familiarity with Epic reporting tools and workflows, including Radar dashboards, Reporting Workbench, and SlicerDicer is a plus.

  • Comfortable interfacing with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong communication and consultative skills—able to guide conversations with external clients.

Bonus Points If...

  • Prior experience in a consulting, startup, or vendor role supporting health systems.

  • Familiarity with Epic Chronicles data extraction strategies.

  • Exposure to AI, ambient documentation, or digital health technologies.
