Job Description

We’re looking for a highly skilled Engineering Manager to lead our Data and Software Engineering teams. In this role, you’ll drive the development of scalable software systems and ensure seamless integration of blockchain data into our products. Your leadership will help make our applications intuitive, high-performing, and user-friendly. Working closely with teams across the company, you’ll play a key role in delivering impactful features and shaping the future of our cutting-edge products.

We are headquartered in SoHo, New York City, and this role can be partially or fully remote.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and Manage: Supervise, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers and data engineers, promoting an inclusive and high-performance culture
  • Technical Leadership: Drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable, maintainable software systems that integrate seamlessly with the Uniswap Protocol
  • Blockchain Data Integration: Oversee the extraction and transformation of blockchain and other data sources, ensuring quality and accuracy
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to define priorities, shape technical solutions, and deliver key features
  • Project Management: Plan, prioritize, and manage projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery of key features
  • Innovation and Scalability: Drive initiatives to optimize data retrieval and processing, enhancing the performance of our systems as data volumes grow.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years in software engineering roles, with at least 2 years of engineering management experience
  • Technical Expertise: Strong experience in software development and familiarity with blockchain data structures and APIs
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to build and lead high-performing, collaborative engineering teams
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a crypto focused company or startup environment
  • Familiarity with blockchain protocols and decentralized technologies
  • Proficiency with cloud-based data solutions (e.g., AWS, GCP)
  • Understanding of ETL processes and data pipeline development.
  • Passion for building cutting-edge, user-centric software products

Minimum full-time salary of $240,000- $275,000. Disclosure in accordance with New York City's Pay Transparency Law. Full Time employees at Uniswap Labs are also eligible for other compensation elements, including equity, tokens, and benefits, dependent on the position type.

Uniswap Labs' Full-Time employee benefits include company-paid medical, dental, & vision for you and your dependents, gym subsidy, 401(k) with 4% employer contribution, annual $1,500 education stipend, unlimited and encouraged time off, up to 16 weeks paid parental leave, home office setup stipend for remote employees and daily lunches at NY headquarters (all benefits are subject to applicable taxes and based on eligibility).
