Why work at Nebius
Nebius is leading a new era in cloud computing to serve the global AI economy. We create the tools and resources our customers need to solve real-world challenges and transform industries, without massive infrastructure costs or the need to build large in-house AI/ML teams. Our employees work at the cutting edge of AI cloud infrastructure alongside some of the most experienced and innovative leaders and engineers in the field.
Where we work
Headquartered in Amsterdam and listed on Nasdaq, Nebius has a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, North America, and Israel. The team of over 800 employees includes more than 400 highly skilled engineers with deep expertise across hardware and software engineering, as well as an in-house AI R&D team.
Marketing
Join a company that is at the forefront of how AI is reshaping life and industry, and a marketing organization that supports the Nebius corporate vision. You’ll join a team that is passionately focused on data and advanced methods of customer acquisition, persona targeting and best-in-class storytelling, and a culture of excellence that values experimentation and creative problem-solving.
The role
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Event Manager to bring our regional event strategy to life across North America — with most events (95%) taking place in the U.S. This role calls for a strategic thinker and strong project leader who knows how to work cross-functionally and manage v-teams effectively.
Our core audience is AI product creators, so you’ll need to stay on top of industry trends and craft experiences that feel fresh and authentic. The ideal candidate has a passion for technology and a solid background in event management. You should have hands-on experience with large trade shows, hackathons, meetups, executive gatherings and self-hosted conferences of 200+ attendees. You won’t be alone — you’ll work alongside our Senior Event Manager, based in San Jose, who will be there to support you onboarding from day one.
You’re welcome to work remotely from the United States of America. (Mid-West / East-Coast preferred)
Your responsibilities will include:
Event planning and management:
- Help to develop and execute a comprehensive event strategy for the region
- Plan and manage all aspects of events, including program, logistics, budgets, timelines, staffing and event follow-up.
- Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, sales, product, etc.) to ensure event success
- Oversee the creation of event materials: website, invitations, programs and promotional items
- Create compelling content to generate interest and drive attendance
- Manage event registration, attendee communication and follow-up
- Provide excellent customer service to attendees, speakers and sponsors
Vendor and partner relations:
- Establish and maintain relationships with event vendors, sponsors and partners
- Negotiate contracts and ensure service and goods delivery within budget and timeline
- SWAG production
Post-event analysis:
- Collect and analyze event feedback and identify areas for improvement
- Prepare post-event reports and presentations for senior management
- Implement changes based on feedback
We expect you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of experience in event planning and management, preferably in the technology industry
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously
- Flexibility to travel and work evenings or weekends as needed
- Understanding of GPU cloud market or public cloud market is a plus
Key employee benefits:
- Health insurance: 100% company-paid medical, dental and vision coverage for employees and families.
- 401(k) plan: Up to 4% company match with immediate vesting.
- Parental leave: 20 weeks paid for primary caregivers, 12 weeks for secondary caregivers.
- Remote work reimbursement: Up to $85/month for mobile and internet.
- Disability & life insurance: Company-paid short-term, long-term and life insurance coverage.
Compensation
We offer competitive salaries, ranging from 130k - 165k OTE (On Target Earnings) based on your experience.

Verify Employer Thoroughly
Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.
Never Pay to Get a Job
Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.
Safeguard Your Personal Information
Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.
Scrutinize Communication & Interviews
Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.
Beware of Unrealistic Offers
If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.
Insist on a Formal Contract
Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
