Job Description

About Carrot:

Carrot Fertility is the leading global fertility, family-building, and lifelong hormonal healthcare platform providing care for everyone, everywhere. Trusted by more than a thousand multinational employers, health plans, and health systems, Carrot's comprehensive clinical program delivers industry-leading cost savings for employers and award-winning experiences for millions of people worldwide. From maternity through menopause and pre-pregnancy through parenting, Carrot is dedicated to expanding access and improving outcomes. Carrot empowers members with compassionate, personalized, and inclusive support.

The Role:

We’re seeking a strategic and data-driven Event Marketing Manager to lead our U.S. event portfolio, including hosted programs, executive networking experiences, trade shows, and branded activations. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role focused on generating leads, driving pipeline, and delivering exceptional event experiences that reflect our brand and mission.

You will own the end-to-end execution of integrated event campaigns working closely with Sales, Product Marketing, and RevOps to ensure events convert into measurable results. This role does not have direct reports, but will collaborate across internal stakeholders and external partners to bring each event to life.

What You'll Do:

  • Own execution of Carrot’s U.S. event programs and contribute to strategic planning across select hosted programs, sponsored conferences, networking dinners, and speaking opportunities
  • Partner with stakeholders to design campaigns that align with commercial goals from top-of-funnel awareness to sales acceleration
  • Own end-to-end execution: content planning, budget oversight, agency/vendor management, and onsite experience
  • Build and manage campaigns in Salesforce and marketing automation tools to support lead capture, routing, and attribution
  • Drive post-event analysis and performance reporting with a focus on pipeline influence and ROI
  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Health Plans, and Clinical teams to ensure alignment, visibility, and support for each event
  • Collaborate with Sales to enable targeted outreach pre- and post-event, and help ensure follow-up is timely and tracked
  • Innovate with new formats (roundtables, fireside chats, activations) that reflect Carrot’s brand voice and thought leadership
  • Track market trends and best practices to keep our event strategy fresh, competitive, and customer-centered

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5–7 years of event or field marketing experience, ideally in B2B SaaS, healthtech, or benefits
  • Strong campaign mindset and able to plan events as integrated components of larger marketing programs
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce (campaign creation, reporting, attribution tagging)
  • Demonstrated ability to generate pipeline and align events to measurable revenue goals
  • Comfort working cross-functionally across go-to-market, product, and content teams
  • Data-driven mindset and ability to turn insights into action
  • Impeccable project management and attention to detail, with the ability to run multiple programs in parallel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident representing the brand internally and externally
  • Ability to travel between 25% based on our annual calendar
  • Comfort with the ambiguity inherent in a fast-paced startup environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in healthcare, HR tech, benefits, or regulated industries
  • Familiarity with platforms like Salesforce, Splash, Asana, Slack and Zoom
  • Understanding of account-based marketing (ABM) or regional field enablement
  • Experience leading B2B webinars on Zoom

Compensation:

Carrot offers a holistic Total Rewards package designed to support our employees in all aspects of their life inside and outside of work, including health and wellness benefits, retirement savings plans, short- and long-term incentives, parental leave, family-forming assistance, and a competitive compensation package. The starting base salary for this position will range from $105,000- $115,000. Actual compensation may vary from posted base salary depending on your confirmed job-related skills and experience.

Safe Remote Job Search Tips

Verify Employer Thoroughly

Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.

Never Pay to Get a Job

Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.

Safeguard Your Personal Information

Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.

Scrutinize Communication & Interviews

Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.

Beware of Unrealistic Offers

If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.

Insist on a Formal Contract

Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
