About the Role: Finance Manager
We’re looking for a mission-aligned, strategic, and execution-oriented Finance & Operations Manager to join our team. Reporting to the VP of Finance, you’ll lead core financial processes, collaborate cross-functionally, and support Daybreak’s mission of reaching over 25 million youth with effective mental health care.
Note: Healthcare or healthtech experience is required—familiarity with financial models involving payers, providers, or government-funded care models is essential.
This is a high-visibility, fully remote role that blends strategic oversight with tactical ownership—perfect for a finance leader who thrives in a dynamic, high-growth environment and is passionate about youth mental health.
What You’ll Do

Own and lead the month-end close process and financial reporting packages for internal and investor use

Manage cash flow forecasting, bank covenant compliance, collections, and revenue operations

Maintain and evolve the company’s financial model, including scenario planning and integration with headcount/business assumptions

Build and manage commission structures, compensation models, and equity forecasting

Lead CAC analysis, pipeline tracking, and forecasting in partnership with the Growth team

Partner with Product and Strategy to develop dashboards in Mosaic, Looker, and other tools

Lead forecast and budget reviews with department leads, surfacing insights, risks, and opportunities

Contribute to board decks and investor materials and support fundraising and strategic planning
Must-Have Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

6+ years of experience in finance, strategy, operations, or business analytics

Prior experience in healthcare or healthtech (e.g., working with payers, provider networks, or value-based care models)

Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis skills

Experience with CAC, customer funnel metrics, and LTV modeling

Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets and comfort with financial systems/reporting tools

Excellent communicator with proven cross-functional leadership and project management skills

Experience with Salesforce or CRM systems

Familiarity with equity and commission planning

💸 Compensation

Base Salary: $130,000–$150,000 USD
