Maximus is looking for a high-impact Finance Manager, Marketing who is analytical, detail oriented, and a strong strategic business partner. This role empowers Maximus Health’s growth by delivering actionable financial insights, building robust models, and partnering closely with marketing and cross-functional teams to optimize performance and reporting. Leveraging advanced analytics and deep industry expertise, you’ll drive strategic decision-making and scalable processes that support our mission and rapid expansion.

About the Role:
As a results-driven finance professional with a proven track record in high-growth environments, you will play a pivotal role in empowering Maximus Health to reach its ambitious goals. Grounded in robust financial modelling and insightful analysis, you’ll partner with business leaders to drive informed decisions that fuel our mission. You will partner with our Head of Marketing to help deliver profitable and scalable growth.
You thrive working independently and bring a wealth of experience in optimizing systems and processes to support scalable growth. Your analytical mindset allows you to transform complex data into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you’ll take ownership of our financial data, develop and track key performance metrics, and build scalable reporting frameworks and dashboards, you will be particularly focused on working with our Marketing teams. Your expertise will be instrumental in conducting ad hoc performance analyses and executing a wide range of core FP&A responsibilities. Responsibilities:
Leverage advanced analytics, hands-on financial modelling, and strategic analysis to deliver impactful recommendations that shape key business decisions and elevate the clarity of critical performance metrics.
Design, build, and maintain sophisticated financial models to assess the effectiveness of marketing programs, customer acquisition costs, lifetime value, and the full marketing funnel—empowering data-driven growth.
Dive deep into marketing campaign performance, providing actionable insights that boost efficiency, optimize spend allocation, and maximize returns on marketing investments.
Become a subject matter expert in our data architecture, harnessing its power to deliver transparent, actionable reporting on business performance.
Collaborate and foster strong partnerships with cross-functional teams in finance, accounting, and marketing analytics & operations, ensuring alignment and shared success.
Continuously refine and enhance policies, procedures, and systems to support Maximus Health’s rapid growth and scalability.
Drive the annual operations planning process for marketing spend, working hand-in-hand with stakeholders to understand business drivers, opportunities, and risks.
Partner closely with Marketing leaders to manage budgets and forecasts, achieving exceptional accuracy (within 2% variance), and providing ongoing analysis of actuals versus plan and forecast.
Support headcount management to ensure optimal resource allocation and operational efficiency.
Play an integral role in monthly and quarterly close activities, partnering with accounting to review expense accruals and ensure financial integrity.
Qualifications / Ideal Candidate:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a comparable quantitative field
5+ years of FP&A, or Strategic Finance with hands-on experience in SaaS or subscription models. Health Tech experience is preferred.
Experience working with Marketing, or go-to-market organizations, with a deep understanding of GTM motions
A strong understanding of marketing metrics, including CAC, LTV, attribution models, and digital marketing analytics is required
Experience with SQL and analytics/reporting tools. Looker experience is a plus.
Strong understanding of data structuring and data flows across multiple platforms/tools
Financial modelling skills and quantitative analysis experience
Expert in Excel and Google Sheets; can maintain complex spreadsheets, comfortable with large datasets, different modelling techniques, and shortcuts
Experience with GAAP and non-GAAP financial metrics
High competency with systems such as Quickbooks, Looker, & 5Tran
Preference to candidates working in PST, MST, or CST time zones, willing to accept EST for excellent candidates
