As part of this role, you will:
- Steward a beautiful, fast, and accessible front-end web platform and maintain the CMS behind it (Dato)
- Improve the demo experience at demo.mercury.com to help potential customers understand how Mercury can work for them
- Build new tools that help founders
- Collaborate with designers to infuse the marketing site and web application with moments of whimsy and small UI delights
- Spark unique moments of joy with larger experiential projects that help Mercury grow
The ideal candidate for the role:
- Has 3-5 years of frontend development experience, including experience with React and TypeScript, along with strong web platform fundamentals.
- Has experience working on a content-driven site leveraging a CMS
- Empathizes with users and can channel their perspective to build lovable products.
- Can balance tradeoffs and find creative solutions to accomplish goals
- Likes pushing the boundaries of what they can do with technology, leveraging creativity to build something interesting
- Communicates and collaborates effectively with peers and cross-functional counterparts.
The total rewards package at Mercury includes base salary, equity (stock options), and benefits.
Our salary and equity ranges are highly competitive within the SaaS and fintech industry and are updated regularly using the most reliable compensation survey data for our industry. New hire offers are made based on a candidate’s experience, expertise, geographic location, and internal pay equity relative to peers.
Our target new hire base salary ranges for this role are the following:
- US employees (any location): $140,800 - 158,400
- Canadian employees (any location): CAD $133,100 - 149,700
