About the Role:
As aFrontend Engineer III - Web CRO, you will be a key contributor to our team, leveraging your specialized skills, theories, concepts, principles, and methods to develop and maintain complex, user-facing web applications. You will be instrumental in driving our Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) initiatives by building and implementing robust, high-performing frontend components. This role requires significant independence in handling assignments with complex aspects, with your work reviewed for its soundness and strategic impact.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain complex user-facing web applications using modern frontend technologies.
Lead the development of frontend components specifically for Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) experiments, ensuring precise implementation of tracking and analytics.
Utilize CRO tools such as Optimizely in conjunction with complex frontend systems to build and deploy A/B tests and other experimental components.
Create and maintain advanced reusable frontend components and libraries, promoting efficiency and consistency across our applications.
Ensure the high performance, responsiveness, and scalability of web applications across various devices and browsers.
Champion responsive design principles and implement best practices in CSS architecture.
Actively research, evaluate, and introduce new frontend technologies, tools, and best practices to enhance our development processes and product capabilities.
Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices across engineering teams.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated and high-quality solutions.
Contribute to code reviews, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and adherence to established standards.
Qualifications:
5+ years of professional experience in developing and maintaining complex, user-facing web applications.
Expert-level proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
Strong proficiency in Vue.js (versions 2 and 3) and Nuxt 3.
Excellent understanding of developing reusable frontend components in large software systems.
Proven experience in developing front-end components for Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) experiments, with a strong emphasis on implementing accurate tracking and analytics.
Demonstrated experience using CRO tools like Optimizely in combination with complex frontend systems to create testable frontend components.
Advanced understanding of responsive design principles and extensive experience with CSS preprocessors/frameworks.
Demonstrated ability to ensure high performance and responsiveness of web applications.
Proven ability to introduce new technologies and practices to improve frontend development workflows and outcomes.
Experience in mentoring junior engineers and actively contributing to their professional development.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues in the frontend codebase.
Proficiency in Git for version control.
Experience with frontend build tools and package managers (e.g., Vite, Webpack, npm, Yarn).
Familiarity with RESTful and GraphQL APIs and integrating frontend interfaces with backend services.
Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.
Knowledge of performance testing and debugging practices.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
