Job Description
We're seeking a skilled Senior Application Developer to build innovative technology solutions for our client's mortgage servicing platform using cloud-based Microsoft technologies. You'll create robust business applications, ensure quality through comprehensive testing, and provide ongoing support from development through deployment. Please note that this is an on-site job and will require relocation to either the Santa Monica mountains region in CA, or the Collin County region in TX.
What You'll Do:
- Develop sophisticated applications using modern technologies including .NET, .NET Core, C#, and Agile methodologies
- Build full-stack solutions with expertise in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and functional programming principles
- Deploy applications to production environments and provide ongoing system support
- Troubleshoot and resolve user-reported issues in live systems
- Lead small projects independently while collaborating effectively on larger team initiatives
- Contribute to the organizational culture and values through your daily work
What We're Looking For:
- .NET Core expertise (Version 8 preferred, Version 6 acceptable)
- AWS cloud experience including EC2, SQS, SNS, Lambda, Containers, and API Gateway
- Full-stack development capabilities across all application layers
- Hands-on experience with AI-powered coding tools like GitHub Copilot
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience (we'll consider mid-level candidates with strong potential)
- Proficiency with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and XP
- Database experience with SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
- Understanding of design patterns, refactoring, and unit testing practices
- Linux and open source software familiarity is a plus
- Financial services background, especially mortgage-related, is valuable
- Able to relocate to California or Texas
