About the Role
We’re looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer to join our Dashboard team at Sardine. This team builds the investigator tools and interfaces that help our customers detect, investigate, and prevent fraud in real time. Your work will directly empower both customers and internal teams to make faster, smarter decisions.
This is a great role for someone who is passionate about building intuitive, data-rich user experiences and wants to make a real impact in the fight against financial crime.
Please note that this role will follow working hours of 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST, to align with our global team’s collaboration and client needs.
What you’ll be doing
Build and maintain scalable, high-performance dashboard features using React, Typescript, Go, and PostgresSQL.
Design and implement backend services, dataflows, and APIs that power customer-facing UIs
Design and implement tools that help analysts quickly detect and take action on suspicious behavior.
Drive high standards for code quality through code reviews, testing, and documentation.
Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions.
Take ownership of your work from concept to deployment, ensuring a smooth user experience.
Communicate effectively with global teammates to stay aligned on goals, priorities, and timelines.
What you’ll need
5+ years of software development experience, ideally in startup or high-growth environments.
Proven full stack development experience, with proficiency in Go, Node.js, or other server-side languages.
Strong experience building RESTful APIs and web services.
Deep understanding of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
Experience working with React, Typescript, and other modern frontend frameworks
A track record of building and shipping high-quality user-facing products.
A user-first, product oriented mindset with a strong sense of empathy and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication in English.
Nice to Have
Experience with data pipelines or event-driven workflows
Background in fintech, banking, or fraud/compliance domains.
