About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated PhD researcher for a postdoctoral position focused on developing generative models for structure-based drug design. The postdoc will work at the intersection of deep generative modeling, differential geometry, and computational chemistry.
Core Responsibilities
- Investigate, implement, and develop state-of-the-art generative techniques (diffusion, flow-matching, stochastic interpolants, etc.) for generative modelling of small molecules.
- Benchmark and compare model performance with previous approaches.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
- Contribute to publications and presentations.
About You
- PhD candidate in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Computational Chemistry, or a related field.
- Strong background in generative modeling and geometric deep learning.
- Proficiency in deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow).
- Strong programming skills and experience with large-scale computational experiments.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with quantum chemistry methods.
- Prior work in AI-driven drug discovery and molecular optimization.
- Publication record in top-tier conferences/journals
Details
- Start date: Year-round, on a rolling basis
- Duration: 1–3 years
- Location: Remote
The US base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be $115k - $135k per year. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This role may be eligible for annual discretionary bonuses and equity.
