As the Global Payroll Policy & Compliance Lead, you will build and own automated compliance tracking frameworks and real-time compliance dashboards, ensuring payroll operations and product development remain aligned with global regulations.
This role is critical in translating complex regulatory updates into actionable insights for Product, Engineering, Payroll Operations, and Risk & Compliance. Your work will ensure compliance is proactively embedded into our payroll systems, mitigating risks, and supporting business growth in an evolving regulatory landscape.

🎯 What You’ll Do
- Design and run automated frameworks that track payroll legislation, tax law, CBAs, and social security changes across multiple countries.
- Translate complex, country-specific compliance requirements into clear technical specifications for payroll engine development.
- Partner with Product Specialists, Engineers, and Payroll Ops to embed compliance into payroll systems — from requirements gathering through testing and automation-driven validation.
- Build real-time dashboards, alerting tools, and reporting pipelines so compliance data is always accessible and actionable.
- Educate product teams on legislation, and ensure compliance changes are implemented correctly through structured testing and automation-first validation.
- Deliver clear compliance reports and risk updates to leadership, enabling visibility and confident decision-making.
🔎 What You Bring
- Experience in global payroll compliance, employment law, or tax compliance with exposure to multi-country regulations.
- Strong technical skills in automation and data integration (SQL, Google Scripts, APIs, Zapier/Make or similar).
- Proven ability to translate legal and payroll requirements into system logic and technical specifications.
- Hands-on experience with UAT and automation-based validation to ensure compliance accuracy.
- Comfort working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Risk, and Payroll Ops.
- Clear, concise communication skills in English.

The base salary range may be subject to change.
