The Solutions Engineering team is a central pillar of our growth strategy, and we are looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer focused on GPU / AI&ML. The Senior Solutions Engineer will play a significant role in growing the business via technical pre and post-sales engagements and will be responsible for accelerating and growing engagements with a focus on GPU infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Pre-Sales, and Proof of Concepts with a proven track record of taking initiative in innovative high growth companies. You will need a strong understanding and involvement within the AI community. You know what tools AI founders & developers use and how to find solutions for their problems. We are looking for someone who is excited about the opportunity to be the face of AI infrastructure for our prospects and customers.

What to expect:

  • Focus on capturing GPU based Generative AI / ML / Analytics revenue.
  • Meeting potential and current customers to most effectively communicate what and how Vultr can address their needs.
  • Engage collaboratively with customers to understand their business problems. Scope and define proof of concepts to accelerate and grow opportunities.
  • Educate customers on the value that Vultr provides and expand their horizons about the art of the possible.
  • Participate in deep architectural discussions and design exercises to create world-class solutions at Vultr.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to deliver Voice of the Customer to guide continued future customer success.
  • Partner with Marketing to create reference architectures, white papers, workshops, and demonstrations for internal and external uses.
  • As a Subject Matter Expert participate in coaching and mentoring the Sales team on GPU / AI&ML topics.
  • Travel 20%.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Highly motivated/self-starter with a sense of ownership, willingness to learn, and desire to succeed
  • Skilled at influencing, guiding, and facilitating stakeholders and peers with decision making
  • Ability to articulate technical and business concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated willingness and ability to dig into unfamiliar territories to solve complex problems.
  • Expertise in the GPU ecosystem from GPU Hardware, Bare Metal and Virtualized Cloud Delivery, AL & ML frameworks and AI & ML Ops orchestration.
  • 6+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructure experience
  • 4+ years of Solution Engineering - Solutions Architect - Sales Engineering experience
  • 3+ year of experience deploying GPU-based AI, ML & Analytics solutions (e.g., for training, fine-tuning, and inference)
  • Extensive knowledge of AI Models / Algorithms, Libraries, Compilers and Runtimes for diverse silicon ecosystems.
  • System level understanding of server hardware architecture and Linux OS.
  • Networking experience, including knowledge of Ethernet, Infiniband or other networking protocols
  • Storage experience, knowledge of performant multi-user offerings including Open Source and COTS options.

Compensation

$120K - $170K + Bonus
