About the role
Fleets depend on healthy and profitable vehicles. Your goal is simple: keep vehicles on the road longer, at lower cost, whether they run on diesel, gas, or batteries.
As Group Product Manager, Vehicle Operations, you will own the health and performance of every truck on the Motive platform. You will work hand in hand with engineers, data scientists, product managers, sales engineers, account executives, and customers to build full-stack products that stretch from hardware firmware to cloud services and mobile apps and use AI at the core of everything.
Key challenges you will tackle include:
- Build and deploy AI models that predict failures before they happen and surface actions that save fleets real money.
- Turn billions of sensor readings into clear decisions that raise uptime and cut fuel use.
- Automate maintenance and warranty workflows.
- Lift vehicle uptime and reliability. Cut unplanned repair costs and roadside breakdowns.
- Optimize fuel and energy use mile by mile.
- Extend engine and battery life for mixed fleets.
You will define the vision, run experiments, and deliver world class products. If you can ID a Cummins by its exhaust note and still have a shelf of Hot Wheels trucks, you’ll feel right at home here.
What we look for
- 8-10+ years in product management with at least 2 years leading people.
- Hands-on experience in fleet, automotive tech, or industrial IoT is desired.
- Track record of shipping products that cut cost or boost uptime.
- Be extremely comfortable with data analysis.
- Clear, open communicator who can align many highly opinionated teams.
- Nice to have: shop-floor experience :).

Verify Employer Thoroughly
Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.
Never Pay to Get a Job
Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.
Safeguard Your Personal Information
Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.
Scrutinize Communication & Interviews
Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.
Beware of Unrealistic Offers
If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.
Insist on a Formal Contract
Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
