The Reddit Growth Builder plays a key role in developing and expanding a vibrant ecosystem of communities on Reddit. As a Growth Builder in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, you will be responsible for supporting Reddit’s goal of growing multiple communities by surfacing and promoting content that resonates most with the local user base. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners, playing a key role in amplifying content and engagement across German-speaking communities.
Location: Open to remote candidates in Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, or Switzerland
Hours: Part-Time Role
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the setup of new subreddits, including styling, graphics, and community rules.
- Identify, surface, and share content that is most engaging for local audiences.
- Develop a deep understanding of the culture and needs of focus communities to tailor content and engagement strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on growth strategies.
- Provide feedback on product features (e.g., user onboarding experiences, new feature launches) to ensure they align with the needs of the local market.
- Conduct data analysis and research to help guide community growth initiatives and optimize content strategy.
Requirements:
- Fluent in Swiss German, with a deep understanding of the country’s culture and language.
- Bonus: Fluent in either French or Italian.
- Experience working with external partners and pitching initiatives.
- Strong familiarity with Reddit, its ecosystem, and user expectations.
- Ability to quickly understand and adapt to the nuances of various topics and content verticals.
- Ability to dedicate 20-40 hours per week on Reddit growth initiatives.
- Open to internships and working students.
