About the role:
We are looking for a Growth Marketing Director to join our team. You will be responsible for driving member sign-up and engagement with Garner, including optimizing existing marketing channels + launching new marketing channels & tactics. Additionally, you will own building reporting and processes to better understand marketing performance by client, channel, and campaign. This is a high-impact role at the heart of our growth engine - helping us engage more members, deliver a first-class member experience, and ultimately improve health outcomes at scale. We are looking for a strategic problem solver who is analytical, innovative, excited to test & scale new marketing ideas, and build reporting to optimize marketing performance. You’ll combine growth & marketing, data & analytics, operations, and cross-functional collaboration (working with Product, Data & Reporting, Engineering, and Account Management) to drive member engagement and client retention. The role reports to the VP of Growth Marketing.
This position is fully remote.
What you will do:
- Own increasing sign-up rate and app engagement across our book of business by driving efficiency in existing channels and ideating + owning launch of new channels & tactics (e.g., referral program)
- Drive efficiency in existing channels: A/B testing + lowering cost per conversion
- Optimize marketing channels via experimentation: Design and launch A/B testing across channels (e.g., email, direct mail, and SMS campaigns, push notifications) utilizing marketing automation tools & platforms such as Iterable to drive member sign-ups and engagement
- Launch new marketing channels & tactics: Innovate to develop new marketing tactics & channels that help us drive member sign-up and engagement with Garner - full end-to-end design and execution, including strategy & concept design, business case / ROI proposal & analysis, partnering cross-functionally to launch new tactic/channel, testing & iteration, and reporting to leadership on performance
- Build automated analytics & reporting: Develop new processes & partner with Data to build automated dashboards to measure and analyze campaign & channel performance metrics (e.g., conversion rate, cost per conversion); own key member engagement dashboards, improve marketing attribution to sign-up rate, and develop regular reporting to understand success of our marketing campaigns and how to optimize future campaigns
- Refine messaging & segmentation: Leveraging experimentation and testing, refine targeting and messaging to optimize campaign performance by member persona. Use data and user research to develop key member personas and tailor marketing strategy and campaigns by persona
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with Product, Account Management, Engineering, Data & Reporting to support new product launches, custom client marketing initiatives, and analyze and optimize marketing performance
- Optimize new processes: Build and improve scalable marketing processes to improve efficiency
What you will bring to the team:
- 5-8+ years of B2C marketing experience in a growth marketing, lifecycle marketing, marketing operations, or similar role
- In-depth experience with experimentation, including high volume A/B testing
- Past experience driving quantitative results, including hands-on experience designing & executing multi-channel marketing campaigns using marketing automation and CRM platforms (preferably Iterable)
- Tactical execution of email, segment, and campaign builds
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS for basic email template customization
- Innovative & creativity skills - looking to ideate new marketing tactics & channels to reach members and partner with stakeholders to get these channels launched and tested
- Strong critical thinking & problem solving skills - able to break down complex problems with logic, structure, and supporting analysis
- Excellent data & analytics skills – with ability to analyze marketing performance data and develop structured reporting to track and share results and generate actionable insights
- Strong project management skills - ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work cross-functionally
- Collaborative team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment

Compensation Transparency:
The base salary range for this position is $133,000 - $175,000. Individual compensation for this role will depend on various factors, including qualifications, skills, and applicable laws. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and competitive benefits plans, including but not limited to: flexible PTO, Medical/Dental/Vision plan options, 401(k), Teladoc Health and more.
